Some photos of the locations we used

In these photos you can see roughly the main locations we used throughout our filming.

In these two photos you can see us preparing the bus stop scene. We had to get the timing perfect to get the effect we wanted of when a bus/lorry drives past it swipes to a closer shot of the watch to emphasise the idea of waiting. You can see the houses in the background of the shot but no one is around for him so even though people live around him, he still has no one. Also with it being at a bus stop it portrays the idea that maybe the girl was meant to be getting a bus to him and even the bus isn't turning up.

In this photo below you can see the end scene preparation where we tired to get the idea of the male protagonist walking off into the sunset, perhaps indicating he finally got the answer he'd been waiting for but the audience doesn't know anything for sure. This also, with the sunset, uses pathetic fallacy as the audience realise that its coming to a end and somethings occurred for him to walk off into the sunset.

In the last photo of the camera you can also see us playing around with the rule of thirds for the date night and the actual setting for the date night. We tried to get it to look romantic so that it portrays how much effort he's going to for her to not bother turning up. This adds a bit of sympathy for him as the audience watch him sit on his own knowing his dates not going to turn up.
